Darshan is a former board member of the Minnesota Professional Photographers Association and the Photographer's League of Central Minnesota. She is an alumni of the New York Institute of Photography and is a contributing artist for Fine Art America.
Darshan has been awarded Editors Pick in the LensCulture Emerging Artist Competition and was selected for entry in the LensCulture Exposure Awards 2015. LensCulture is an international photographic competition searching for the best from all corners of the world, having entrants from 123 countries.
Her work for Accessible Yoga, a non profit organization, at their first annual conference held in Santa Barbara, CA is being published internationally.
